Amazon Fund is a non-profit organization that facilitates activities and projects which contribute to the conservation of tropical forests, wetlands, savannas and native cultures in the Amazon region. We cooperate with local organizations that are implementing the projects and identify and promote new initiatives to conserve Amazon nature and culture. Amazon Fund promotes sustainable local development with measurable lasting impacts.

Key activities of Amazon Fund at present are:

• Environmental education projects and awareness campaigns.
• Sustainable small farmer’s agro-forestry and community forest management projects.
• Construction of clean drinking water, sanitation and alternative energy systems in small rural communities.
